Welcome to the Riverdale High Library Media Center
The mission of Riverdale High’s Library Media Center is to provide free, equitable access to information across all curricular areas, support individual needs, instruct classes in the usage of informational skills, and celebrate the enjoyment of reading, viewing, and listening.

Our library media center has laptops available for in-library use, comfortable reading areas, worktables, and a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction reading material.
Students may check out books from the general collection for a 2 week period. Books may be renewed as needed. Fines will be charged for all late library materials: 10 cents a day, not counting weekends and holidays. Reference books may be checked out overnight, with $1.00 a day fine for late returns.
Students are free to visit the library before school and at lunch. Teachers may issue passes for students to checkout books or work on assignments or projects during the school day. The library has a black and white laser printer and students may print from a flash (USB) drive at the rate of 10 cents per page.
The library is also available for technology rich collaborative lessons, where students actively learn web based applications and lesson objectives concurrently. Contact Ms Brown via email to start your collaboration!
